When Timmy turned 12, his parents told him why he was so different from most other kids. His parents cared. With six billion people teeming in this world, children must have advantages to succeed and to move among the Elites.
Time was when it was considered unethical to want the best for your children, so humans continued to create babies in animal fashion without considering what coupling would or could produce. It was regarded as a radical and major paradigm shift in thinking when most people in westernized countries began believing that the exact opposite of what happened in the 20th century would be more ethical. In fact a few of the remaining clergy claimed God directed that this be so.
So as scientists successfully completed the Human Genome Project, people initiated more modern and more humane "family planning." Parents who really love their children would take all steps possible to procure the best available for them. Not merely the best in photonic-learning absorption sessions after birth, but also the best possible physical and mental prenatal environment.
The bio-Luddites of the 21st century put up a violent fight causing massive backlash that swung even more of the electorate over to the new concept voters. They claimed this proved that such non-caring parents were violent, and this activated the violence gene which was then passed on to their kids by the covered-wagon version of 20th century sex.
When Timmy heard this, he quickly realized that he was one of the Elites the kids at school talked about. He never minded the taunts because he understood why his classmates did what they did. His non-verbal communications gene told him the meaning of many things.
"We really cared for you, so we had you enhanced with genes that gave you tendons modelled after those found in the legs of the strongest species of grasshoppers," his parents explained. "That's why even now at 12 years old you are leading the school in the high jump. We also wanted the strongest heart for athletic performance. It also will serve you well should you decide to become CEO of a large global conglomerate, making major decisions in different countries every day. The stress would be substantial. You'll reach high status early in life because your IQ/CQ/IQ (intelligence, creativity and intuitive) genes offer immediate assistance.
"We have never said "stop, don't, or get away from there, no matter what you did. You have the inherent ability to know what is right. You don't need to be taught. We believe you should not be directed but always be free to chose your own trail. When you find something you like, you will do well, and will quickly become a world leader in that field. Even now, you never worry about money as you know it will come from your own effort, in substantial amounts whenever you need it".
"We knew the adventure gene would provide an inquisitive nature and lead you into weird and wonderful but dangerous places. But we felt that your enhanced intellect would adapt quickly to handle any situation. You might want to consider personal risk evaluation when you engage in such adventures. We think that is one of the most educational aspects life has to offer. Being there and doing things, not simply absorbing other people's experiences from your direct-line (to the brain) data banks."
Timmy's IQ/CQ/IQ kicked in immediately. Understanding of the whole complex sociological, economic, and personal reactions automatically gave him the right response,
"You really do care. Thank you so much for the gifts you have given me. I will use them wisely.
"And, aren't we lucky to have been born in Singapore, The Intelligent Island?"
